It is really a big concern for motorcyclists when they go out riding in hot weather. While most riders also want to look fashionable, therefore, it is not possible to go out wearing shorts and shirts. Also, it is not a good idea to wear leather pants and jackets during hot weather. Because it will make you sweat like crazy.

No matter what you are wearing, it is normal to sweat in humid weather especially if you are riding.

Since your comfort matters, you should invest in quality, protecting motorcycle clothing that will keep you cool and dry in hot temperatures. Here are some suggestions to help you in this regard,

  • Helmet: For a helmet, you can choose between an open face, flip front, or modular helmet to ensure protection and more ventilation.
  • Inside: Cotton T-shirts are breathable but they can get stickier when sweating. You can get base layers, polyester tops, and shirts instead
  • Jacket: Best motorcycle jacket for hot weather? Try a mesh jacket or some kind of cooling vastly available in the riders' zone
  • Trousers: It is better to choose jeans or find some riding jeans from market
  • Boots & Gloves: Find breathable boots and gloves to keep your feet and palm dry in hot weather

Hot weather is here and that means rain, bugs, and extreme heat. Get some quick tips about how to enjoy your ride even in hot weather. Watch this video

Our team isn't pro racers or crash-test engineers, and we'll never pretend to be. What we do is read the ECE and Snell test protocols, track Virginia Tech and SHARP ratings and CPSC recalls, and comb through what actual riders, surfers, sledders and arborists say about the gear on their heads. HelmetsAdvisor is that homework done in public - standards, fit data, recalls, and real owner reports synthesized so you can pick a helmet in ten minutes instead of ten forum tabs.
