How to install c flap on helmet?

C flap looks like some kind of add-on to baseball helmets. It is added to increase protection for the cheek and jaw area in baseball helmets.

C flap is used on baseball batting helmets and it is not so difficult to install it on your own. You just need to purchase c flap and prepare all the instruments that will require.

Step – 1

The first thing you need to do is, make holes to attach the C Flap using screws. Which side you attach the C flap to depends on your batting style. You can see a rivet screw on each side that should be exposed to install the c flap.

Use pliers to get rid of the rivet and place the flap to understand where you need to create the holes exactly.

Step – 2

The screws come along with the flap and you will need a drill machine and screwdriver to get the job done. Don’t forget to detach the ear pad from inside the helmet. You should do this before drilling the helmet.

Finally, use a strong double-side sticker to stick the inner ear pad to its place. And you are done with installing the c flap on your baseball helmet. Here are the steps of how easily you can DIY install a c flap on your helmet. Watch out the video.
